My 4000Q was free, but $1500 for a runner isn't the end of the world unless it's rusty.
You can absolutely beat the living shit out of these things, and they just come back for more. Mine's tailwhipped fenceposts, jumped, destroyed subframes on rocks, spent more time at WOT than idle, and finished 4th overall in a LeMons race, and it's never quit. Love that car.
